Understand your options

Lipo 360 describes liposuction planned around the torso, often including the abdomen, flanks and back. It aims to change contour, not treat obesity or replace healthy weight management. The areas included and the extent of treatment are decided individually.

Lipo 360 or a tummy tuck?

Liposuction removes localized fat through small incisions. It does not remove substantial loose skin or repair abdominal muscle separation. If skin laxity is the main concern, a tummy tuck may be a different option. Skin elasticity, fat distribution and previous surgery all matter when comparing the two.

Who may consider torso liposuction?

A consultation considers stable weight, general health, skin quality and realistic goals. Your physician needs a separate clinical history, including nicotine use, medications and clotting risks. Do not share those details through the Esencia contact form. Someone seeking major weight loss may need a different pathway before contouring surgery.

Risks and limitations

Potential complications include infection, bleeding, fluid collections, uneven contour, altered sensation, skin injury, blood clots and anesthesia-related problems. Larger treatment areas or combined procedures can change the risk profile. Ask about the proposed treatment limits, anesthesia, facility and emergency arrangements rather than assuming “360” is a standardized operation.

Recovery and planning in Miami

Swelling and bruising can obscure the early contour. Compression, wound care, activity and follow-up instructions depend on your plan. Arrange an adult escort and support at home; ask when driving, work, exercise and travel may resume. If you live in Broward or Palm Beach County, plan follow-up transport as carefully as the surgery-day journey.

Common questions

General education to prepare for your consultation. Individual recommendations belong with your physician.

Does Lipo 360 tighten loose skin?

Not reliably. Skin response depends on elasticity, and significant excess skin may require an excisional procedure. Ask whether fat, skin or both explain your concern.

Can Lipo 360 be combined with a BBL?

Fat removed by liposuction may be considered for transfer, but combining operations is not automatically appropriate. Donor fat, overall health and the additional risks of fat grafting require a separate assessment.

What determines the cost?

The areas treated, anesthesia, facility, surgical plan and included follow-up affect a written quote. Confirm garments, tests, medicines and any additional fees with the clinical provider.
